A Hymn: My Lover is Incomparable

(“Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.” (S. O. S 4:7))

Composer’s Foreword: I am not good in notes, but from the local church trainings while in choir, I have come around with this hymn using another hymn. If you know the hymn beneath, then you can join me to sing this song unto the Lord.

The Tune of Hymn to Use

“How sweet the name of Jesus sounds

Blessed be the name of the Lord

It soothes my sorrows heals my wounds

Blessed be the name of the Lord

Chorus:

Blessed be the name, Blessed be the name

Blessed be the name of the Lord

Blessed be the name, Blessed be the name

Blessed be the name of the Lord

The Composed Song

1. As flow’r of lily even among thorns

That’s how you my beloved is

In the midst of all people in the world

My lover is incomparable

Chorus

Thou use song of love, thou use song of love

Thou use song of love to compass me

Thou use song of love, thou use song of love

Thou use song of love to compass me

2. Beloved’s lips are as thread of scarlet

And her speech is very comely

Her temples are like piece of pomegranate

My lover is incomparable

Chorus

3. Beloved’s eyes are like that of a dove

Her hair is also very long

Her teeth are white like that of the crystals

My lover is incomparable

Chorus

4. Neck of my lover is like a tower

That is built for the armory

Her body resembles that of neonate

My lover is incomparable

Chorus

5. Thou art all fair even thou my beloved

There is no spot on thy body

Thou art on the pinnacle of my heart

My lover is incomparable

Chorus
