Composed Hymn

Author’s Note:

I am not very good in the conventional note, thus the tune I used in composing this song is this hymn:

Music notes

“My faith looks up to Thee

Thou Lamb of Calvary,

Savior Divine

Now hear me while I pray

Take all my sins away,

O let me from this day

Be wholly Thine”

I composed it in Yoruba (my dialect) and translated it to English from this I hope further translations could be made.

Confused lass

I will write it in Yoruba and enlish translation of it.

1. Mo gbẹkẹ mi le Ọ

Iwọ Ọlọrun mi

M’ẹgan mi lọ

Translation

Pleading Woman

1. I put my trust in you

You who are my God

R’move my reproach

Take me out of trouble

And much confusion

That surround my soul

Oh! My God

Closed Door

2. Put thou me not to shame

You that heareth prayer

I call on You

On the day of distress

(Oh) Let thine name

Be my protection

Oh! My God

3. Do not shut the door

Of thy tender mercy

Against my life

Let thy mercy speak

On plight of my life

‘Tis I pleaded for

Oh! My God
