DISPOSITION CHANGED ON THE SICK BED
He attended University but he wasn't a graduate, he couldn't complete for finances, had to leave University and start doing home lessons for students with the aim of raising money to return to university.
As he has planned things did not work out like that because of other things that do surface after gathering the money.
However, it was yet in his mind to return to university in the future.
There was a teenage girl who has been struggling to pass her O Level examination, she has attempted the examination six times but didn't make it. Her parents have grown weary of her failed attempts.
While her father was discussing with someone on what he could do to salvage the situation of his daughter, one of his friends has told him of getting home teacher for her. He asked if he anyone he can recommend for him and he recommended this young guy who couldn't graduate from University, that he is very good in teaching students and preparing them for O Level examination. His friend says he is sure if he employs him for her daughter, her daughter will pass the examination as well as other examination she may sit for afterwards.
Her father was glad for this, collected the contact of the guy and called him.
After interviewing him, he employed him to be teaching his daughter.
During this period, the girl has clocked twenty years.
He indeed gave her his best and as it has been stated she passed her O Level Examination.
During the moment of teaching her they became romantically involved.
Rumour of their love has reached her parents and have been monitoring them. After finishing her examination they have separated them, told the the guy never to come near their house again nor their daughter.
Their love has grown deep such that they continued talking and seeing covertly.
She was admitted to University at a distant town from where they lived, gotten for her a new phone and line. Her parents collected her former phone from her and give her a new one with the new line. The new line has been bugged by her parents to be monitoring her conversation.
She knows what her parents are capable of doing having done the same for her eldest sister when they did not want her to be romantically involved with a guy, they bugged her line.
She was naive of this development but she afterwards got to know and had manouvered her way out with her partner.
Giving her a new phone and line she knows she will be monitored and had employed the services of her only friend to be communicating with him.
Her parents discovered she has beaten them to this and have raised young, charming and handsome guys to propose to her but she wouldn't fall for any of the guys.
As they set her up so they set up the guy too sending people who are close to him to introduce beautiful and working class ladies to him who could help him actualise his dreams easily. For whatever reasons, the guy also would not listen to any of those words.
They used to tell each other of what they are experiencing through her friend's phone that they are using in communicating.
She told him to hang on for after her graduation she will be able to decide for herself.
After her graduation from the University they sent people to her parents but they wouldn't listen to them, insisting that she leaves him.
She didn't listen to them and got engaged to him anyhow.
Her father cursed her, and her spouse but her mother cautioned him because no one knows tomorrow.
They barely visit her family.
About a year after this, her father took ill. When other children couldn't leave what they were doing to assist her mother in taking care of the sick man, she left what she was doing to give her mother helping hand in taking care of her father.
Her husband too was doing her best in the aspect of finance to support the family.
Her father one day looked at the young man and his daughter and thanked them for being there for him.
"I almost forced you to miss your husband" he says to them, "if I have achieved my aim, maybe there would be no one to take care of me now. You have shown me that sometimes we err as parents when we want to force our ways or the person we want on our children, what we should do is hand them over to God and continue to pray with them that they don't miss it in marriage."
He was well taken care of, got healed and blessed their marriage….
