Don’t Sniff What You Won’t Eat
When the soul of lady Moyan was about to leave the firmament, the last angel that used to show people what they will encounter in the world took her to the last room, having been taken to other rooms by other angels before. This room that she was taken to is the room where females used to pick a glittering star out of the many stars in the room.
Whatsoever star such soul of the lady taken into that room chose, the star would be handed over to the angel who took her into the room and the star would be opened by the angel so that the person would know the content inside the chosen star.
When the star is opened by the angel, the number inside the star would be revealed to the soul the angel has taken into the room. The number inside the chosen star that the angel has seen would also be made known unto the soul of the lady. After the lady has seen the number in the star, the angel would inform the soul that that is the number of children the soul will give birth to when the soul gets to the world and becomes flesh and blood housing the soul and started living among the people.
In addition to the soul knowing the number of children she would give birth to, she will also be allowed to see the stars of the numbers taken. The soul would see that some of the numbers are outshines the other while some shine minimally, that is for those whose chosen star have many numbers, while those with only one number inside the star has nothing to compare what has been revealed unto her to.
Expectedly some after picking a glittering star, the star may have in it 40 stars while some would have few numbers and rarely some would have only one star. But none of the souls would be without a number.
After leaving this stage, the soul of the person would leave for another room where the soul would be equipped with things that she needed to take on flesh and blood as she heads for the world.
So, when the soul of lady Moyan was taken to this final room by the angel in charge, the soul of lady Moyan chose a glistering star that her soulish eyes have focused on entering the room. The star was handed over to the angel and the angel after performing the needful things on the star opened the star and showed the soul of lady Moyan the content inside the star that she has chosen.
She saw 6 boldly written inside the star and the angel told her that when she gets to the world she is eligible to give birth to 6 children who are verily promising because the stars of those numbers where verily shining none of the stars could be said to outshine one another except the second to the last star which shows some exceptionality, but it wasn’t that it was that overwhelming.
After the soul of lady Moyan saw this she was happy and left where she was as she entered the next room where she would be prepared for the next stage which is taken up flesh and blood to go into the world.
After everything has been completed for lady Moyan, she was let go by the heavenly guiding angels. Her parents who were subsumed in love, their kind of love is called the street exceptional love because the duo was living in the same street and it was from there that they got involved with each other as from primary school days.
During their primary school days, the school which was also in their street, they have been playing husband and wife when children were playing with sands in the street. And they used to perform it very well, no one takes their play to the heart other than laughing over it, because children’s play is children’s play after-all they have also acted like that before, but they did not get married to those with whom they played such plays during their childhood days. Many of those who used to watch them play sand play then cannot even pinpoint where those people whom they had played with before were by then. They would all say after seeing them play that twenty children cannot be together for twenty years.
It has however been observed that this male and female child, Pocket and Longy as their names were respectively their commonest forms of play was family play and they would play it as if they have gotten old as if they have exceeded their age. This used to baffle some of them.
Pocket being the male was two years older than Longy. When Longy was in primary four, Pocket was in Primary five. At this time, they used to do cultural dance play during the end of the year of the school program together. By the time Pocket wanted to leave primary school he and Longy acted husband and wife in the playlet that was held for their parents during the presentation and closing of the school program.
All in attendance marveled at their play that day. But as it has always been none put their eyes on them, they do not have reasons to put their eyes on them because Pocket is now heading to secondary school while Longy still have a session to spend in the school before she finished and when she finished she may not even go to the same school as Pocket. Thus no one has any reason to put their eyes on them.
All this time no one have anything in mind concerning that for the duo. But though they were naïve as people view them, but they have been viewing themselves as lovers. And it was discovered later that Pocket has written a love letter to Longy.
When Longy received the love letter from him, she acknowledged the letter and told him in her response to her that she admires her and would not mind that their plays become a reality one day.
By this they have been writing letters to each other and secretly talking about fun and love obviously hidden to all and sundry.
When Longy wrote her secondary school entrance examination she insisted that she will go to the school that Pocket go as fate would have it, she was admitted into the school. This was how their relationship begins to bubble on.
By the time they got to senior secondary school level it has become obvious to nay fewer persons that what they were considering to be insignificant those days may become significant. Yet some say they should give them time.
They continued like this until they finished from the institution. Longy couldn’t further her academics again while Pocket further his academics. When Pocket gets to 300 Level he and Longy had fun for the first time and the result of the fun was pregnancy which happened to be soul of lady Moyan.
Their parents have known one another in the neighborhood, and it was not difficult for them to accept what happened between their children the parents of Pocket got for them apartment where they will be living close to the school of Pocket.
When Pocket finished his degree, he also has a bouncing baby girl as the first child. They were showing this baby love because they also love each other.
When baby Moyan was going to 18 months, her parents died through unexpected fire that broke out in the building that they were living in. She was lucky as she did not die in the inferno.
The relatives of her mother took her up and nursed her. When She was 14 years and 9 moons, she finished secondary School and luck smiled on her as she secured admission into University.
During Matriculation ceremony, she was introduced to guys on campus and that was how she started being in the company of guys. Soon enough she became involved with a guy, the guy she was involved with did not waste time to get through to her, she deflowered her and by the time they were about to start second semester examination she noticed that she has taken in.
When she noticed this, she discussed with the guy, who told her that she should get rid of the pregnancy because he was not ready to become a father.
Since she did not want to be a drop out, she yielded to the counsel of the guy and got rid of the pregnancy.
When the second semester was going to its end, it was clear that the guy does not want to be involved with her again. This resulted in fighting between them, but the guy did not yield, he left lady Moyan.
Since she was able to scale through the first year, she brushed aside the incident and moved ahead with her life.
She decided that she will face her studies alone and would not be romantically involved with anyone again, but this decision won’t last long as she soon become romantically involved with another campus guy. She will say to others that she was careful in selecting the new guy and the first error occurred because she wasn’t careful in her choosing the first man.
Things seem to be going on well with them until what happened the first time happened again, she was again impregnated by the new guy. As if they were telling themselves what they will do, the new guy also told her that she will not accept her pregnancy. She was left with no other option other than getting rid of the pregnancy again.
This new guy would again not be able to continue with her again because she was not giving in to him as she was before. This new guy pleaded with her that she should give him a chance to rectify what he has done wrong, but lady Moyan would not agree to his pleas. The guy eventually left her.
This was how she continued to live alone without getting romantically involved with anyone until she graduated from the university.
During her service to her country, when she was seeking for a good placement, she had to cave-in to the commandant’s pressure and she had fun with him. She was having regular sexual pleasure with the man throughout the time she served her country.
It was now regular tonic for her to get rid of the pregnancy that she was carrying because the man she was involved with told her that he couldn’t be married to her as he has his wives and children at home.
By the time she finished her compulsory service to the nation, she has gotten rid of another three pregnancies for the commandant.
Where she applied to for job, the chairman of the company says he is not giving job to ladies except those who can play ball. She asked him for the meaning of ball playing and when she got to know that, lady Moyan played ball with the chairman and after 4 years of playing ball with him she took in again because she missed the protective drug that she was taken before their ball.
The chairman has told her before that it was game, she dares not tell him about the pregnancy and she aborted the pregnancy again.
By this time, she has seen someone who is serious with her, a man whom she planned to settle down with. Immediately after getting rid of the pregnancy she and the man settled down as husband and wife and they left for another country, because Moyan’s husband has gotten a job with a foreign company and has been asked to move to the headquarters of the company.
It has been 18 years now since they have been married, lady Moyan has not taken in for once and they have been trying different means of getting pregnant including invitro-fertilization and other means, but nothing is happening.
She forgot what she has chosen in the spiritual realm before she left the world and lived her life anyhow in the world, now she desires badly a child, but she couldn’t have one. She is trying to adopt a child but those she has been seeing she did not like them at the orphanage homes.
Such is life, we do not know what we have chosen in the spiritual realm when leaving for the world, thus it is very essential that we do not live our lives anyhow in the world, what you will not eat do not sniff it so says the adage in my land (ohun ti o kò ní jẹ má fi run imú).
