Application:
It is a Proverb of encouragement, that if one takes what the evil ones have done to him or her too personal and because of that withdraws one's self from what one ought to be doing in the society, one will have himself or herself to blame on the long run because one will still be in one’s secluded position when someone (those) who will be of assistance to the person, helpers will come around, and one would miss out the benefits one ought to receive from such people.
Thus, when someone injures your mind, don't be too much weighed down by it, else you will transfer the aggression to those who you ought not to transfer the aggression to and by the time you know it, you will have injured yourself, lose those people and have yourself to blame for it all.
